The Silver Course is a self-study course designed for those who want to learn at their own pace without direct support. It includes basic lessons on the Russian Manicure technique but does not include:
• Support or assistance from an educator
• Evaluation or feedback on work
• Live practice sessions
Since student work is not evaluated, those who complete the Silver Course receive a Certificate of Attendance. This means we cannot issue a certification that would allow students to perform the Russian Manicure on paying clients since their skills have not been assessed.
The Gold Course is a comprehensive and interactive training program with 50+ days of access to more detailed and updated lessons with improved demonstrations. It provides full support to ensure students develop their skills effectively.
• Live Welcome Call – A batch-wide call that serves as an orientation to meet fellow students, set expectations, and help ensure success in the course.
• Group Live Interactive Practice (60 mins) – A guided session where an educator demonstrates each step, answers questions, and gives expert tips. This is the perfect time for students to ask any questions about the technique.
• One-on-One Live Coaching (20 mins) – A private session with an educator to discuss any areas needing extra assistance that were not covered in the group practice.
• Coaching & Support from an Educator – Students can send photos or videos showing any issues they are experiencing, and an educator will provide feedback, coaching, and guidance.
At the end of the Gold Course, students who successfully pass the evaluation receive a Certificate of Completion (COC), which allows them to perform the Russian Manicure on paying clients.
Absolutely! Our courses are specifically designed to be beginner-friendly. If you've watched a few online videos related to manicures or have had a manicure service before, you already have the basic knowledge required to enroll in our courses.
While the course is designed for beginners, it’s important to understand that it doesn’t promise immediate expertise. Mastering the Russian Manicure technique depends on various factors, including individual learning pace, practice, and commitment. As this is a hands-on skill, significant time and effort will need to be invested to fully hone your abilities. Consistent practice is essential to developing the precision and artistry required to excel.
Yes! Our course is scientifically and practically designed to be highly effective in an online setting. However, online learning requires more discipline from the student compared to in-person training. It’s not just about watching the lessons—it’s about actively applying the techniques, observing details, and consistently practicing.
To get the best results, we strongly recommend:
• Focusing on each lesson and carefully following the techniques.
• Practicing consistently—just like athletes train daily to refine their skills, mastering Russian Manicure requires dedication and repetition.
• Applying feedback and improving your technique before moving on to the next step.
This is a skill-based course, and learning a skill takes time and effort. The more you practice, the better your results will be.
You will have 30 days of access for the Silver Course and 50+ days of access for the Gold Course, starting from the date of enrollment. This gives you ample time to work through the course materials at your own pace and convenience.
For Gold Course students, while the course is flexible in terms of when you study, deadlines for lesson completion and project submissions must be met. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in an incomplete course status.
Please ensure you follow the structured timeline provided to stay on track.
The duration of the course varies depending on the specific course you've enrolled in. The lesson time frames can range from as short as 45 minutes to up to 3 hours. Please keep in mind that this duration does not include the additional time you might need for research and practice.
For gold courses, the time required may also depend on your progress and practical skills. In some cases, our instructors may request additional practical work before issuing your certificate.
Please check the "Courses" page for more details.
Russian Manicure Philippines (RMPH) is dedicated to upgrading the Nail Industry in the Philippines. To achieve this, we have implemented access limitations for a specific reason. Our intention is to encourage students to be dedicated and focused on their courses, rather than viewing them as something they can access at their convenience.
We aim to create a community of nail technicians who are genuinely eager to learn and grow. This is why we have set time constraints for taking the courses.
Moreover, because these courses involve the acquisition of technical skills, consistent practice without long delays is essential to develop muscle memory. If we were to provide a full year to master manicure skills, it wouldn't be effective.
We firmly believe that one month is more than sufficient to guide you to a certified nail technician level. If you are looking for a one-day training, our courses might not be the best fit, as mastering these skills and achieving excellence takes time and commitment.
Additionally, we don't allow requests for access extension for the same reason. The continuity of learning is vital for skill acquisition, and granting extensions would hinder this progression. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to the learning journey.
Being a nail technician with years of experience is a significant accomplishment. However, in the ever-evolving world of nail art and design, continuous learning and skill enhancement are paramount for staying competitive and successful in your business.
Our courses offer a valuable opportunity to tap into a wealth of knowledge accumulated by Russian expert nail technicians and instructors. By enrolling in our courses, you can ensure that you stay up to date with all the latest advancements and trends in the industry. This investment in your education and skills not only keeps your expertise current but can also help you elevate the quality of your services and ultimately grow your business.
Absolutely, we understand your desire to achieve the level of quality you're aiming for. Unlike watching a YouTube video, it's important to approach online courses with a different mindset. Our courses are meticulously crafted and includes multiple demonstrations from our lead educator @aenaildesign who have years of experience both in nail practice and teaching. @aenaildesign have designed the courses to be easy to understand, highly practical, and effective in helping you develop your skills.
All our instructional videos are available in high-definition (HD) with subtitle options to ensure you have a detailed audio explanation alongside the visuals. However, if you encounter anything that seems unclear or requires a deeper understanding, be prepared to conduct additional research if you are enrolled in a Silver course. For those in any of our Gold courses, don't hesitate to reach out to your instructor for assistance.
Remember, just like any technical skill, achieving excellence in nail art and design is a journey that involves practice and dedication. This is why we recommend enrolling in one of our Gold courses. In our Gold courses, you'll have the invaluable support of a dedicated instructor throughout your learning journey. They will be there to assist you when needed, assign practical projects, and provide additional practice sessions to help you refine your skills. This personalized guidance ensures that you reach the level of proficiency you aspire to in the art of nail design.
That depends on your commitment to practice. Some students complete the course and pass the evaluation within the training period, while others need more time to refine their skills—both are completely normal!
Remember, this is a skill-based course. Just like enrolling in sports training, completing a set number of sessions does not automatically make you a professional player. Progress depends on how much time and effort you put into practicing and improving.
After the course, students have the option to:
• Continue training independently through self-study and practice.
• Take further training if they feel they can improve better with additional assistance, support, and coaching.
Mastery takes time, consistency, and dedication—this course gives you the tools, but your progress depends on how you apply them.
We understand that mastering a technique takes time, so we offer two options for students who need more time after completing the course:
1. Exclusive Access Option:
This option gives you 30 more days of access to the course. You’ll also have the recertification option, which allows you to:
• Work on another project
• Submit it for evaluation
• Receive detailed feedback and a new evaluation for certification
Note: While this option does not include direct support from an educator, you’ll still get comprehensive feedback on your recertification project to help you continue improving.
2. Self-Study and Self-Improvement Option:
If you prefer a more independent approach, you can take the time to focus on self-study and working on areas of improvement. When you feel ready and have worked on your skills, you can apply for recertification to have your work re-evaluated and potentially earn a higher level of certification.
We’ve designed the recertification option because we acknowledge that learning this technique takes time. We don’t want to close doors for students who may need more practice to meet the required standards. We understand that the initial investment of time, effort, and money has already been made, and we believe that with time and experience, you can achieve mastery.
The Silver Course allows 30 days of access, while the Gold Course provides 50+ days of access to accommodate learning and practice.
For Gold Course students, while you have flexibility in when you go through the lessons, we are strict when it comes to deadlines—especially for lesson completion and project submissions.
The only required live calls throughout the course are:
• Welcome Call – This usually happens on the Saturday before the official course start date.
• Group Live Interactive Practice – This takes place on a Saturday after all lessons have been completed.
• One-on-One Live Coaching (20 minutes per student) – Once enrolled, students can select their own time slot from the available dates to find a schedule that works for them.
Since schedules may vary per batch, we recommend referring to the course calendar to check specific dates for your batch. The course calendar should also be available here —just be sure to select your batch from the dropdown menu to ensure you are viewing the correct schedule.
Staying on track with the provided schedule is critical to successfully completing the course and earning certification. If you anticipate any issues with meeting deadlines, it’s important to plan ahead and manage your time effectively.
A Basic Toolkit is already included in your enrollment. This toolkit contains the essential tools needed for the course, as the lessons are designed around these specific tools to help you successfully perform the Russian Manicure technique.
However, there are additional tools required to fully perform the Russian Manicure technique. For a complete list of required tools, you can download the checklist below for reference.
If you are already enrolled in the course, a Tools Lesson is available within the course platform to discuss this topic in more detail.
If you need assistance in obtaining any additional tools not included in the Basic Toolkit, you can reach out to Nail Central Market at nailcentralmarket@gmail.com for support.
Holding a Level 1 to Level 3 Certificate of Completion means you are a certified nail technician, fully equipped to start working with clients. Earning your certificate demonstrates that you have achieved a high level of technical excellence. However, we strongly recommend gaining real-world experience by practicing on 2-5 friends or family members before working with paying clients. This extra practice will help refine your soft skills and further enhance your overall proficiency, which is the ultimate goal of these courses.
The primary distinction between our Certificate of Attendance (COA) and Certificate of Completion (COC) lies in the level of assessment and certification of skills.
Certificate of Attendance (COA)
The COA is awarded to students who have completed the course but have not yet met the required standards for full certification. This certificate acknowledges that they have participated in the training and gained knowledge, but their work has not yet reached the level required to be certified to perform Russian Manicure on paying clients.
We recognize that technical skills like Russian Manicure take time to develop, and learning this technique is not an overnight process. The COA is our way of acknowledging the student’s effort and commitment while ensuring that their journey does not end just because they did not pass the initial assessment. We do not close the door on students who need more time to refine their skills, which is why we offer the recertification option. This allows students to continue improving, apply what they have learned, and have their work reassessed when they feel ready.
Certificate of Completion (COC) – Three Levels
The COC is awarded to students who pass the evaluation and demonstrate the required skills to perform the Russian Manicure technique professionally. The levels indicate the depth of technical ability, precision, and understanding of the technique.
• Certificate of Completion – Level 1
Awarded to students who have demonstrated an understanding of the basic concepts and techniques covered in the course. This signifies that they have grasped the foundational knowledge necessary to proceed to more advanced levels.
• Certificate of Completion – Level 2
Given to students who have shown proficiency in intermediate concepts and techniques. It indicates a deeper understanding and improved technical skills, preparing them for more advanced applications.
• Certificate of Completion – Level 3
Awarded to students who have achieved a high level of competence and expertise. This level signifies mastery of the course material and demonstrates excellence in all areas covered by the course.
To clarify the different certification levels, it’s important to understand that they are designed as a structured pathway for skill development and advancement, rather than a system that places one level as “lesser” than another. Each level reflects a combination of technical skill, experience, and the ability to apply the technique professionally.
Several key factors influence a student’s certification level:
1. Prior Experience with Nail Techniques
• Students who already have experience in nail techniques similar to Russian Manicure may progress faster.
• Those who are new to the technique will naturally need more time and practice to build confidence and skill.
2. Time and Effort Dedicated to Practice
• The course includes five projects, but completing these alone is not enough to develop true technical mastery.
• Muscle memory, understanding cuticle work, product control, and precision require consistent, ongoing practice.
• This is why, throughout the course and during the welcome call, we emphasize the importance of practicing in between projects. The five projects in the course serve as checkpoints, but real skill development comes from continuous hands-on practice beyond those submissions.
3. Applying the Lessons Exactly as Taught
• Simply watching the lessons is not enough—correct execution of the techniques is critical.
• Students who modify techniques or revert to previous habits rather than following the structured method in the course may not achieve the intended results.
The different levels of certification are designed as opportunities for progression and skill refinement. Achieving Level 1 or Level 2 does not mean a student is “lesser” than someone at Level 3—it simply reflects where they are at this moment in their learning journey.
Students always have the option to continue improving and work toward a higher level when they feel ready. This system ensures that students progress at a pace that matches their skill development, while keeping the option open to level up as they gain more experience.
Our goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow, improve, and gain confidence in their abilities while maintaining high industry standards.
Enrollment for the Gold Course is limited because we are committed to ensuring the highest quality of support for our enrolled nail technicians. Each batch has a limited number of slots, and once a batch is full, enrollment will be closed until the next batch becomes available.
Additionally, the Gold Course follows a batch system, meaning students cannot enroll at any time. If enrollment is currently closed, it may be because the batch is full or the next batch has not yet opened.
If you need assistance or would like to know when the next batch will be available, you can chat with us through the bottom right chat icon on the page or reach out via Instagram or Facebook (@russianmanicureph). We also recommend following our social media channels for updates on slot openings.
Yes! This is definitely a route we recommend for nail technicians who want to further develop their skills. Upgrading to the Gold Course allows your work to be assessed, provides you with support from an educator, and gives you access to additional practice and projects to help you become a certified nail technician.
If this is something you’re interested in, you can chat with us through the bottom right chat icon on the page or click the Contact Us button to upgrade your enrollment. You will only need to pay the difference between the Gold Course enrollment fee and the amount you’ve already paid for the Silver Course.
The Silver Course is a self study online course. One-on-one support and coaching are exclusively available for Gold Courses.
We are continuously improving and upgrading how we provide support to our students, so different channels may be introduced to ensure that you receive the best assistance possible.
Currently, our instructors are available Monday to Friday (excluding holidays), and all coaching and support are provided through chat and email. The specific arrangements for assistance will be communicated to you once you’ve enrolled in a Gold Course.
We strive to provide timely and effective support to every student. While response times may vary depending on the nature of the inquiry, please allow up to 72 hours for a detailed and thorough response from an instructor.
We're delighted to hear that you've discovered us! We're thrilled to collaborate with salon owners because it allows us to train more nail technicians simultaneously, aligning with our goal of elevating the nail industry swiftly. Indeed, we offer special pricing for salon owners. Please get in touch with us via email, and one of our Account Specialists will reach out to you promptly.
Currently, all our courses are conducted online. However, we recommend following us on our social media accounts (@russianmanicureph) to stay updated on new courses and offerings. This way, you can be notified when any future one-on-one personal training opportunities become available.
As an online training institution, the official certificate that comes with your course is a soft copy. However, as a token of appreciation, we offer the option for students to have their certificate printed—provided they personally pick it up from our office.
If you would like to request a printed certificate, please submit a request through Student Support at least five to seven business days in advance so we can prepare it for you.
Important Note:
We only authorize the enrolled student to personally claim their certificate. We do not allow third-party authorization or pick-ups on behalf of another student.

No, you don’t have to purchase tools separately because a Basic Toolkit is already included in the course (Open & Close List). However, there are additional tools required to properly perform the Russian Manicure technique. Please refer to the tools question above for the full list.
While you may already own tools that are similar to the ones included in your course enrollment, we cannot guarantee their efficiency due to differences in brands, makes, and models. This is important because our course is designed around specific tools, helping you to successfully follow the techniques and achieve the expected results.
Additionally, as professional nail technicians, it is highly recommended to sterilize and sanitize tools between each client. Having multiple sets of tools allows for proper hygiene practices. Even if you already own similar tools, receiving the Basic Toolkit from this course will provide you with additional tools to support proper sanitation and help ensure you always have a fresh set ready for each client.
